This was a chunk of my afternoon today:

I found a company in Connecticut that does car and truck frame repairs. Then our mechanic said she thinks the frame is okay after all.

She’s trying to find a used distributor aka “rear end”. Toyota claimed they couldn’t find a new one and wouldn’t install a used one, so it would be outstanding if our other mechanic could pull it off.

Once the new distributor is installed, I plan to bring the truck to enfield so the frame can be checked out by a specialist.

Yesterday I tore myself away from the house for a couple of hours to watch a splendid short film series at the library, the Manhattan Short Film Festival.
