Guess this is the end of the spate of pleasant weather we’ve had since the heat dome landed over the Northeast.

It’s raining now and we’re expecting a couple of day’s worth later this week: hope so.

Cleaned the upstairs bathroom shower. Washed and changed the sheets. This along with taking care of Jett, breakfast and leftovers for lunch took the morning and half the afternoon; it’s now almost 2:30.

Yellow daylilies planted by the previous owner in the front yard are beautiful. I’d split them for the new driveway garden and they look great. Hoping the Endless Summers bloom next month. I hacked them pretty good last year so no early bloom this month.

Sent an Amazon gift card to Butch and Alyssa for their wedding this Saturday. Had almost enough points with Chase/Amazon to cover it: a bonus, this has been an expensive month with Jett’s grooming coming up tomorrow as well.

My left index finger still snaps but at least it doesn’t hurt, not yet.
