The boss decided to shut down the business today so she wouldn’t have to pay time and a half. \u00a0That makes the second of my two regularly scheduled days that I wasn’t able to work this week.<\/p>
Fortunately, MRS came through with some prep work for the 2016 season.<\/p>
Yesterday, I was able to fabricate four round pipes for the new dryer vent. \u00a0It was ridiculously difficult. \u00a0 Today, Ron decided he liked his “Plan B” better. \u00a0Points for trying.<\/p>
Made a nice baked sole (Kyler’s)\u00a0and salad for dinner last night. \u00a0Roasted a pile of almost-dead vegetables for myself today, didn’t bother to make supper.<\/p>
It’s been raining since yesterday, so no watering or other yard work. \u00a0Fell asleep very early last night, up at 3:30 this morning.<\/p>
We are in penny-pinching mode this month, big time. \u00a0Peter owes us over $2,000 between loans and rent, and property taxes were due on the first. \u00a0We can probably get by, but it won’t be pretty.<\/p>
Watched “Grey’s Anatomy” for the first time last night, episode 1 from 2005. \u00a0244 to go on Netflix. \u00a0“Rome” tonight.<\/p>
