It rained all day, so I was working on MRS stuff instead of being outside.<\/p>
Late afternoon, I went out in flip-flops to pick up the paper; it was cold and miserable. \u00a0Being dressed inappropriately for\u00a0the conditions threw me\u00a0off balance. \u00a0I’ve worked on the yard in weather like this, even worse. \u00a0The thought\u00a0that I’m getting older just annoyed me.<\/p>
Ron offered to cook and brought home almost two pounds of gorgeous salmon steaks. \u00a0 While he started puttering, I turned on the electric fireplace, put a load of laundry in the washer and dressed to\u00a0work in the rain: \u00a0shorts, workboots and yellow slicker.<\/p>
This was just about the ideal outfit for a mid-50 degree rain, and there was enough light to work. \u00a0After a couple of false starts, I decided on final placement\u00a0yesterday and was able this afternoon to put the two roses, three grasses and three strawberries in the ground. \u00a0It was very easy going, easy digging and easy to get everyone\u00a0out of their pots.<\/p>
I tripped over something and fell, but one of the hydrangeas slowed me down, which didn’t do it any good, poor thing.<\/p>
I saw one of the rabbits on the way back in.<\/p>
