The buildup was long but the actual day went by so fast, it hardly seems possible that Christmas is over.
\nThis has been a stressful month, starting with an intense 2 1\/2 day testing\/evaluation session around work, a week-long out-of-town business trip, snow storms, and several holiday parties.
\nThis is not to mention fitting in shopping, card writing, getting the truck serviced and the usual running around.<\/p>
\nThe one get-together I look forward to is the annual gifting among three close friends with whom conversation is easy and laughter abundant. I am now the fortunate owner of a quite pretty garden sculpture, a heat\/massage mat, a gift certificate to the new pub\/movie theater and an “Out of Office Countdown” calendar as a result.
\nWith all the food that’s surrounded me for the last several days, I just realized that I don’t have a single cookie or piece of pie in the house – I gave it all away, along with multiple boxes of candy.
