She’s long-winded. She’s for the Iraq war. She believes in adoption. She’s endorsed by the American Federation of Teachers.
\nHillary Clinton is not my idea of a great Presidential candidate. But I may vote for her anyway because I want to see one of us get elected to the most powerful job on earth. And until the Republicans put a decent female candidate in place – which given their Taliban-like outlook on these things, will not happen during my lifetime – Senator Clinton is our best shot for a long time to come.<\/p>
\nEvery time a rap lyric that includes the words “bitches” and “hos” is played, I want Hillary Clinton to win.
\nEvery time I hear ignorant male talk show hosts drool and blather about some woman’s chest or backside, I want Hillary to win.
\nEvery time I read about the psycho nutcases in parts of Africa and Asia that rape and permanently mutilate women for “reasons” like ethnic genocide, ignorance about female sexuality, profit from child prostitution or for the simple fact that they don’t believe that little girls should go to school, I want Hillary to win.
\nEvery time I see a movie like “The Magdalene Sisters”, I want Hillary to win.
\nI have a 10 year old granddaughter, and I want her adulthood to be better than mine was, easier than mine was, less filled with hatred, jealousy, over-competitiveness and male chauvinism than mine was.
\nIt’s a disgrace that this country has never had a female head of state. Even if a good part of the rest of the world wants to wallow in misogyny, it’s time this country grew up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
