Ron has been very busy: taking care of me post-surgery, shopping and today he put together his fondly anticipated DeWalt saw table. I’m pleased for him, he deserves nice things, and at this point, he pretty much has everything he needs for his shop.<\/p>

We met some or maybe all of the new family across the street. Seem like nice people. Big relief.<\/p>

Had words with the Town Manager today, who pretty much confirmed her reputation for living in amber.<\/p>

Good report from the surgeon today, who is pleased that he ‘saved (me) $2,000’. Good doc. My eye felt much better after a shower this morning and has been behaving itself. It’s programmed for distance, though, so reading and keyboarding is a little tough. The right eye will be programmed for reading.<\/p>
