{"id":565,"date":"2005-12-14T15:56:58","date_gmt":"2005-12-14T20:56:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hendersonbrook.net\/wp\/?p=565"},"modified":"2005-12-14T15:56:58","modified_gmt":"2005-12-14T20:56:58","slug":"raynham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hendersonbrook.net\/?p=565","title":{"rendered":"Raynham?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Low Income Housing Coalition&#8217;s annual report lists the 10 metro areas in the US that require the highest wages to afford a two-bedroom home.<\/p><p><!--more--><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s no surprise that San Franciso, Orange County and Boston are on the list, but a shocker (to me at least) that sitting right up there at #10 is Easton\/Raynham, MA.<br \/>\nThe numbers:<br \/>\n<u>Metro area &#8211; Hourly Wage<\/u><br \/>\nSan Francisco       $29.54<br \/>\nStamford, CT        $28.88<br \/>\nOxnard, CA          $28.12<br \/>\nOrange County, CA   $26.77<br \/>\nSanta Cruz, CA      $25.83<br \/>\nOakland             $25.75<br \/>\nBoston              $25.46<br \/>\nWestchester County, NY  $25.31<br \/>\nSan Jose            $25.04<br \/>\nEaston\/Raynham, MA  $24.67<br \/>\nBy the way, 4 of the 6 New England states &#8211; Mass., CT, NH and RI &#8211; rank in the top 10 least affordable to rent a two-bedroom apartment.<br \/>\nIn other financial news, why didn&#8217;t we buy Apple stock 6 weeks ago?
