\nWell, events of yesterday point out some of the reasons why.
\nIf you hire a contractor, and there’s a schedule screw-up, usually people don’t get bent out of shape, they just apologize, and go forward.
\nIt’s different if you ask for help from a friend. If things get off track, then you have multiple people annoyed with you.
\nAdd family to that, and it’s a double-bogey.
\nI THOUGHT a friend of a friend was going to stop by #11 to do some electrical work. I THOUGHT this was all happening in the afternoon. Turns out, I was wrong on the timing.
