{"id":457,"date":"2005-09-13T04:18:04","date_gmt":"2005-09-13T09:18:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hendersonbrook.net\/wp\/?p=457"},"modified":"2005-09-13T04:18:04","modified_gmt":"2005-09-13T09:18:04","slug":"40-x-40","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hendersonbrook.net\/?p=457","title":{"rendered":"40 x 40"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mike and Sharon Gravelle are Ohio residents, and they&#8217;d jumped on the foster care\/adoption <strong>gravy train<\/strong>, big time &#8211; 11 such &#8220;throwaway&#8221; kids, ages 1 through 14, lived with them.<\/p><p><!--more--><br \/>\nThe Gravelles became known to the Huron County sheriff&#8217;s department as the result of a complaint from a children&#8217;s services investigator.<br \/>\nTurns out, the Gravelles had kept the kids in 40 inch by 40 inch cages, wired to alarms that sounded if they were opened.  The cages were stacked in two rows, one on top of the other.<br \/>\nThe kids would sleep in these wooden cages at night, with no pillows or blankets.
