We had a really nice time with a dinner guest last night, an old friend of Sandy’s who’s lived on Cape Cod a very long time.<\/p>
She and I took a turn around the “horseshoe”, and I was horrified to see how much weeding needed to be done in the South corner.<\/p>
It being a picture-perfect day for gardening, I took that on today, along with pruning the hydrangeas and the Summer Sweet. Weeded around the blueberry bushes as well and put down a big brick (3.8 square feet) of peat moss.<\/p>
