I did some deck work today: washing, scraping and sweeping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Caught up with Claudine. She reminded me that we had the furnace serviced in June. I finally remembered my conversation with her son at that time about the new grandchildren. Makes sense that we’d have this done in the off season anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There’s stuffed zucchini in the oven. Took a while to bake. It was delicious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’ve been sympathizing with the Widow Kirk. Even though she comes across as a professional preacher, I’m inclined to attribute some aspects of her performance to genuine grieving. Poor woman!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ron raked leaves today and pulled some old hardware out of the deck walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jett still refuses to eat. He escaped yesterday and ran immediately to Ben and wouldn’t stop jumping on him. I grabbed his collar; he whipped me around at one point. Tonight, he wants to play fetch. Not happening, doggo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
