There are no fewer than THREE big construction projects going on in my neighborhood and lucky us, we’ve learned that contractors can start work at 7 AM.<\/p>
\nThis has been to the good-natured chagrin of my next door neighbor, who is on vacation.
\nThe lady across the street is (finally) after a year of mis-starts getting her pool finished.
\nThe house on the corner is having trees and sod put in, to replace the mess of unruly brush (not to mention snakes that fled to a more congenial spot) that used to be their backyard.
\nFinally, the people a few houses down are putting on an addition.
\nThis is all well and good for property values, so it’s worth a little inconvenience for those who are “stuck” at home, and it doesn’t much matter to me since I’m working offsite these days anyway.
