The quickest way to resolve the issue is to restart the Explorer shell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Right-click on the Taskbar, and click&nbsp;<strong>Task Manager<\/strong><\/li><li>In Task Manager Processes tab, scroll down to Windows processes category.<\/li><li>Right-click Windows Explorer in the list, and click&nbsp;<strong>Restart<\/strong><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/h2-15\/w0-exit-explorer-2.png?resize=590%2C555&amp;quality=100&amp;ssl=1\" width=\"590\" height=\"555\"><br><em>(For more information, check out the article&nbsp;<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.winhelponline.com\/blog\/exit-explorer-restart-windows-10-8\/\"><em>How to Exit Explorer and Restart Explorer in Windows 10)<\/em><\/a><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This restarts the explorer shell and refreshes the Start menu and taskbar (Shell experience host).
