Yesterday I trimmed and loaded the truck with the remainder of Ron’s “hewing and hacking” and brought the good oak to Emma’s and the pine to the transfer station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We did the usual: laundry (Ron) and changing sheets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Was up early this morning and got the cooking done before 8:30: veg loaf and tofu crumbles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sent a letter to the Mashpee Enterprise editor about the thin blue line flags on the firetrucks, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Used up last week’s kale, which was in surprisingly good shape, for a heavy soup: onion, garlic, green pepper, tomatoes, couple of red potatoes, celery, summer squash and the tofu crumbles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spoke with WeedMan about a possible discount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
