Have been working in the yard off and on for the last 8 hours.
\nThere was so much weeding to be done, and I’ll bet when I start again tomorrow, I’ll find even more.
\nI’ve managed to keep the gardens alive and even reasonably healthy, and I’ve been pretty good about pruning, but not weeding.<\/p>
\nIt helps that it’s a picture-perfect day: dry, a nice breeze, not too hot. There’s a music festival across the street.
\nI gave the sick butterfly bush to Candy, and she put it in the ground immediately. I dead-headed the new butterfly along with some other plants, including the beautiful purple hydrangea in the front.
\nIn fact, I’ve mostly been working in the front today; along with dead-heading, I got a huge chunk of the driveway weeded, in fact, almost all of it.
\nThere are four tiny tomatoes and lots of flowers.
