Mr. Fluffles has been here since January 31, slightly over three months.
\nI’ve been trying to teach him to “shake” and this morning, we had a breakthrough: twice, he pawed at my hand without trying to bite it.
\nI’ve been told by people who are very experienced with cats that they are trainable, and do adapt to new patterns.<\/p>
\nFluffles will likely never learn to shake like a dog does, with paw extended. His gesture is more like an ungainly high five, or maybe a high four if you don’t count the dewclaw.
